The focal point of our Quality System is our Quality Policy - "Dedicated to Customer Satisfaction". It is concise and to the point and supported by our Quality Manual.

Our Quality System has been implemented in both of our factory locations and provides the customer with the assurance that from which ever factory your product is manufactured in it will be done with the same standard.

What is ISO and how does it affect you as a Universal Electronics, Inc. customer?

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is comprised of over 90 member countries. In 1987 the organization published the initial series of ISO-9000 standards and updated them in 1994. The ISO-9000 series of standards is a globally recognized series of quality standards designed to guide the user company in development of an effectively documented Quality System.

Universal Electronics, Inc. has recognized that in our competitive business of contract printed circuit board assembly, the need to have a Quality System certified to the ISO standard is extremely important. With this, and because of the scope of our business, we are taking steps to register both Universal Electronics, Inc. facilities to ISO 9002.

For our customers this means that Universal Electronics, Inc. has a Quality System implemented that will consistently provide products and services to them, which will meet their requirements. Our business processes will consistently be improved so that our customer's expectations will continue to be met. The Internal and third party audits will be a continuous check on the Quality System, put in place to monitor Universal Electronics, Inc. compliance to the ISO Standard.
